All forgiven? 50 Cent shows up at ex Chelsea Handler's final show

All forgiven? 50 Cent shows up at ex Chelsea Handler's final show
Some of you may not know this but rapper 50 Cent and comedienne/talk-show host Chelsea Handler dated for a couple of months back in 2012. A few weeks after they broke up, Chelsea embarrassed the hell out of 50 after she told radio DJ Howard Stern that she dumped him and called him a street person because his side chick at the time, Ciara, kept stalking them.

Apparently all is forgiven because 50 Cent showed up for the final episode of 'Chelsea Lately on E!

On stage, Chelsea, who admitted she hadn't seen the rapper since their nasty break-up, joked,

"I wanted to apologize because I did end our relationship abruptly and I know you didn't come on the show for many years...but I want you to know that I have not dated a black man since. They say, 'Once you go black, you never go back' You come running back!"

See what Chelsea said about 50 Cent and Ciara back in 2012 after the cut...
Chelsea tells Howard Stern about their messy break up,

It was so dumb. it's almost embarrassing. I really can't remember the exact the details, but I'll tell you what I can remember. I think one of his ex-girlfriends was coming on my show and she's one of those singers -I can't remember her name. She's really hot. He was dating her I guess previous to me.

Right before Anguilla, Ciara–that's her name!–was coming on the show, and he called me to tell me something about her like she still calls him all the time, and she still tells him that she loves him or something. And I'm at my job, and I go "Curtis, honestly this is like eighth grade sh*t. Why are you telling me this? This girl is coming on the show tomorrow, and now I have to look at her and think you guys have some weird thing going on or had going on." It was so juvenile. I'm at my work and I work my ass off all the time, and I have million different things and even though it's not like important work, I am working hard. I'm doing sh*t.

He said, "I want you to hear this conversation" and he was like calling someone like a 3-way phone call. I go, "So you're telling me this girl wants to get back together with you, but she's upset that you're dating me, is that what you're saying?" He's like, "Yeah, so I just want you to know when she comes."

I think I called him the worst thing you could say to a black person short of calling him the N-word. I said something like you're like a street person basically. Something along the lines of being a gangster, and it was really, really offensive and I hung up and I've never spoken to him again.

My Presence In Nigeria May Threaten Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay Others- May7Ven

My Presence In Nigeria May Threaten Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay Others- May7Ven
May7Ven who is currently in Nigeria to promote her new music 'What Ya Feeling' produced by Tee-Y Mix, has said her presence in the country might threaten Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay, Eva and others, and not the other way round, like most people will think.

While speaking to Netng, May7Ven made it clear that she is a leader, and had influenced Tiwa Savage and a few others way back in London.

"I know when I started, I know why a lot of females are now here. The likes of Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage were all with me in London when I did 'Bo Aso Lara mi', so I influenced majority of them to be doing what they are doing now.

There always has to be a leader, someone who starts and creates things, and that's how I see myself already. So the style I'm doing now, I guarantee you in another two years you'll find another set of Tiwa Savage doing what I'm doing. I've always been an innovator and you can interview any of them, they'll tell you the same thing so they may be threatened that I'm around and not the other way round''.

THE MYSTERY FIRE AT THE GLASS HOUSE.

From: Xantaplus Temitayo

THE MYSTERY FIRE AT THE GLASS HOUSE.

For many football lovers, the mystery fire that gutted the NFF Glass House in Abuja, almost destroying the Accounts Department, has already been tainted  as an act of man, not of God, although proper investigations will tell us which is which.

With news of missing or badly disbursed monies trailing the leadership of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, after the recent World Cup tournament,  there is no way suspicious Nigerians would not call it sabotage or an attempt at cover-up.

Before they left for Brazil, the Aminu Maigari-led NFF  Board was impeached and later sacked on various alleged charges of misdemeanor.
But on the two occasions when Maigari had cried wolf, FIFA had intervened, like a parent who always stands by a bad child no matter what he or she does, to save members of the NFF, reinstated them and threatened the Federal Government for what it termed "regular interference with the running of football in the country". That looks like what Blatter or the Secretary-General would  scream from the touch line when another is picking up the bills.

It is not right for FIFA to say that a country responsible for funding football should not interfere with the rules of the game in that country. Who made that rule anyway: Havalenge or Blatter?  If FIFA, an advocate of the so-called Fair Play, is responsible for the full funding of national football houses, one can understand that position, but that is not the case except for some dollar windfall in a World Cup year. So, its overbearing use of the sledge hammer of banning Nigeria whenever the country is poised to discipline its erring football association officials is totally wrong.

While the Football House was about coming to terms with the out-of-favour warring combatants, the NFF Glass House located in Zone 7 of Abuja, on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 went up in flames, with accounts files  and other documents burnt.

This sad development has raised issues of sabotage and possible cover-up of financial misdeeds within the controversial establishment, which, for the rising number of critics of the NFF, it  has become  a Cash Cow for all those who are running the Glass House.

The football house was only recently  accused of owing the coach of the national team, Mr.  Stephen Keshi, five months salary, as well as failing to provide him official house and car. Keshi's back room staff also suffered the same fate. This is apart from players being shortchanged of their allowances by NFF officials after they had taken care of their own.

Mike Umeh, the second vice president, had immediately called for criminal investigation into the fire as the development occurred  during working hours when workers were in the office. He expressed disgust that the fire occurred at a time a man who had been impeached was returning to the office.

Apart from the accounts department, the office of the Secretary-General was also gutted by fire and all the files and documentsburnt to ashes. Corruption has always been an issue in the NFF, but somehow, it seemed nothing had been done to stem it.

Could it be that the slogan, "those who live in glasshouses should not throw stones", makes no sense to the NFF, hence the seeming endless rot in the Football House.

Was every official a partaker of the booties in the Glass House? Or could it be that the talk of corruption within the FIFA which regulates football around the world has infected the NFF? Does this explain why  FIFA constantly shields corruption in NFF from being blown into the open?

Since football has become the opium of Nigerians, any attempt to clamp down on the NFF has become a blackmail instrument against the country, while the officials rape the treasury of the NFF with glee and confidence.

I recall the last time Mr. President threatened to shut down football in the country for at least three years, many Nigerians reacted by saying that would undermine the future of talented young footballers who are hoping to  eke out a living by playing soccer in foreign countries.

But every passing day, we are slipping into deeper mess. My only comfort now is that our girls, the Falconets, did the country's  image a world of good by putting up a sterling performance at the just concluded FIFA Under 20 Women World Cup.

NFF is overdue for an audit probe and if any investigation finds any official culpable of malfeasance, he should face the appropriate sanctions.

ASSASSINS KILLS A MAN, HIS WIFE, HIS CHILD AND THEIR MAID IN LAGOS...

ASSASSINS KILLS A MAN, HIS WIFE, HIS CHILD AND THEIR MAID IN LAGOS...

Gunmen, in the early hours of yesterday, stormed an apartment in a block of flats in Unity Estate, Akowonjo area of Egbeda, killing a man, his wife, his child and their maid. Details of the tragic incident that sent cold shivers down the spines of residents of the area were sketchy at press time.

However, gathered that the gunmen suspected to be hired assassins, stormed the building at about 2am and fired shots, apparently to wade off intruders.

A resident of another flat in the block, who pleaded anonymity, said there was an argument between the gunmen and owner of the flat whose identity could not be immediately ascertained. According to the neighbour, "the gunmen scaled through the fence of the building and held the gateman hostage.

"They beat the gate man, tied his hands and asked him to leave the vicinity, threatening to kill him if he alerted the Police.

"They, thereafter, made straight for the flat from where we heard argument. We heard the owner of the apartment shouting 'no, no'. We did not know what the argument was about. The next thing we heard were gun shots, with the victim still shouting 'no, don't,' but the assassins continued to fired intermittently.

Sound of the gun shots died down when it was 4 am. But nobody dared to go to the affected flat until daylight." t was gathered that policemen later arrived and took the corpses away.

When the Lagos State Police Command Deputy spokesman, Lelma Kolle, was contacted, he said he was on an official assignment but promised to get back after he would have received details from the Divisional Police Officer under whose juridiction the incident occurred.

Robbers attack Elerinko Estate
In another development, robbers yesterday, went on the rampage in Ijoko Otta area of Ogun State, dispossessing residents of Elerinko Estate of cash and other valuables. Among those attacked was a man who reportedly just returned from Ghana.

The attack, as gathered, was in confirmation of the robbers' earlier threat to attack the area. They were said to have written the residents two months ago, advising them to keep cash at home for them.

Although the Ogun State Police Command was said to have deplored teams of policemen on a 24-hour patrol which was done for one month, the robbers took residents unaware barely two weeks after the patrol team stopped.

To this effect, the fear stricken residents have stressed the need for the establishment of a police post in the area with a view to nipping activities of robbers in the bud.

CRISTIANO RONALDO WINS THE UEFA BEST PLAYER AWARD.

CRISTIANO RONALDO WINS THE UEFA BEST PLAYER AWARD.

Cristiano Ronaldo's contribution to Real Madrid CF's UEFA Champions League triumph last season has been recognised with the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award.

The Portugal captain received the 2013/14 accolade at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from UEFA President Michel Platini. Ronaldo, among the final nominees for the fourth successive year, finished ahead of FC Bayern München's Arjen Robben and Manuel Neuer in a live vote by a panel of 54 journalists who had to select, via an electronic system, their favourite from a three-man shortlist announced a fortnight ago.

Ronaldo, speaking during a ceremony that followed the UEFA Champions League group stage draw, said: "I'm really happy so I must say thanks to my team-mates because without the team, individual awards would not be possible. I don't have this trophy in my museum, so my brother is going to put it there."

The 29-year-old – who follows Franck Ribéry (2012/13), Andrés Iniesta (2011/12) and Lionel Messi (2010/11) as a recipient of the accolade – broke the record for goals, 17, by a player in a UEFA Champions League campaign last term as Madrid claimed their long-awaited tenth European title.

"It was amazing, something that Madrid had looked to do for many years. As Madrid players we feel as though you have to win the Champions League. It was a fantastic season – we won the Champions League, the Spanish Cup and the [UEFA] Super Cup."

Ronaldo also assessed the challenge facing a Merengues side looking to become the first to win back-to-back UEFA Champions League crowns. He said: "Everything is possible. I've won it with Manchester United and now with Madrid, so we're looking forward to another one."

Neuer, Robben and Ronaldo had gained the most points from a second poll of the aforementioned journalists from each of UEFA's member associations, the three having been part of a ten-strong shortlist revealed last month that was the product of a first round of voting by the same reporters.
