Joan Rivers funeral wish - Valentino, Beyonce's hair, Meryl Streep crying

Joan Rivers funeral wish - Valentino, Beyonce's hair, Meryl Streep crying
Above is Joan River's funeral requests written in her 2012 book, I Hate Everyone...Starting With Me. Meanwhile it's been revealed that her funeral will take place on Sunday September 7th at the Temple Emanu-El in New York. See some more memorable quotes from the book after the cut...

On what she wants for her own funeral
"When I die, I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action...I want Craft services, I want paparazzi and I want publicists making a scene! I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don't want some rabbi rambling on;

I want Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents. I don't want a eulogy; I want Bobby Vinton to pick up my head and sing "Mr. Lonely." I want to look gorgeous, better dead than I do alive. I want to be buried in a Valentino gown and I want Harry Winston to make me a toe tag. And I want a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyoncé's."

On obituaries

"I love the obituaries. To me, obituaries are just wedding announcements without the pictures. I read the obituaries carefully, the way Lindsay Lohan reads her Miranda rights."

On people who die of natural causes

"I hate people who die of natural causes; they just don't understand the moment. It's the grand finale, act three, the eleven o'clock number — make it count. If you're going to die, die interesting! Is there anything worse than a boring death? I think not. When my time comes I'm going to go out in highs type. I have no intention of being sick or lingering or dragging on and on and boring everyone I know. I have no intention of coughing and wheezing for months on end. One morning you'll wake up and read a headline: Joan Rivers Found Dead...On George Clooney's Face. Clooney Was So Bereft All He Could Say Was, 'Xjfhfyrnem.'"

On funerals

"I love funerals! To me a funeral is just a red carpet show for dead people. It's a chance for mourners from all walks of life to accessorize basic black, and to make a fashion statement that is bold enough to draw attention away from the bereaved but subtle enough so that no one knows that it's happening. And, it's a great way to have quiet fun."

On people who offer condolences

"I hate people who try to make you feel better. Like the neighbor who says, 'Don't forget, the first part of 'funeral' is 'fun!' Or the minister who says, 'He's in a better place now.' I'm tempted to yell out, 'No he's not. He had a house in the Hamptons. What's wrong with you?""

On the pick-up scene at funerals

"As I get older, I'm going to a lot more funerals, and let me tell you something, it's a great pick-up scene. A graveside funeral is live eHarmony for the bereaved."

Russian General Calls For Preemptive Nuclear Strike Doctrine Against NATO -- Moscow Times

A Russian general has called for Russia to revamp its military doctrine, last updated in 2010, to clearly identify the U.S. and its NATO allies as Moscow's enemy number one and spell out the conditions under which Russia would launch a preemptive nuclear strike against the 28-member military alliance, Interfax reported Wednesday.

Russia's military doctrine, a strategy document through which the government interprets military threats and crafts possible responses, is being revised in light of threats connected to the Arab Spring, the Syrian civil war and the conflict in Ukraine, the deputy chief of the Kremlin's security council told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

But within the Defense Ministry there are voices calling for different priorities.

* In video, ISIS rebel sits in cockpit of captured Russian-made fighter jet
* Second fighter warns Putin that his 'throne is in danger and will collapse'
* Added: 'With permission of Allah we will liberate Chechnya and Caucasus'
* It puts Putin on same side as the West in holding back Muslim extremism
* At same time, Krelim leader remains at loggerheads with U.S. and Europe

Vladimir Putin was today directly and personally threatened by the Islamic State because of his close ties to Syrian leader Bashar Hafez al-Assad.

The chilling warning, delivered by a member of the terror group, puts the Kremlim leader on the same side as the West in holding back Muslim extremism.

But at the same time, he remains at loggerheads with the U.S. and Europe in the worst crisis since the Cold War.

EXCLUSIVE

New details in the arrest of NY Jets rookie Quincy Enunwa ... now, we've learned the alleged victim is a woman ... who claims Quincy got violent in their NJ hotel room.

TMZ Sports obtained official charging documents which show the 22-year-old wide receiver -- currently on the Jets practice squad -- is accused of "grabbing the victim by her ankle and pulling her off a bed causing her to strike and injure both her head and finger."

As we first reported, Enunwa was arrested Sunday evening ... and according to documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Enunwa plead not guilty to the domestic violence charge.

Enunwa was released a short time later ... and the judge ordered him to refrain from "future acts of domestic violence."

Of course, the NFL just announced a new tougher policy when it comes to punishing domestic violence offenders ... after a public backlash over Ray Rice's soft 2 game suspension.

Teenager With Amazingly Long Neck To Undergo Surgery

Surgeons in China are helping a teenager save his neck by shortening it.

Fu Wengui, 15, of Beijing, is preparing to go under the knife because he's reportedly caused immense pain by the three extra vertebrae in his neck.

The teen has 10 vertebrae in his neck while the average person has seven, according to Quirky China, which released photos of him at the hospital. The vertebrae compress his nerves, making it difficult for him to walk.

"When he was six he was diagnosed with congenital scoliosis and abnormal chest frame," Wengui's father, Fu Genyou, told agency.

Congenital scoliosis is a spinal deformity caused by abnormally formed vertebrae, and usually occurs in early development, according to the Scoliosis Research Society. Wengui's surgery will reduce the size of his neck and hopefully enhance movement and reduce pain.

A Beijing-based charity will sponsor his surgery at Chaoyang Hospital, which is working on a treatment plan, according to Quirky News' press release.

"I just hope I can have a normal neck," Wengui said.

What?! Schoolgirl stabbed 60 times by jealous ex-boyfriend

A schoolgirl was stabbed 60 times by her ex-boyfriend after he found out she cheated on him, an inquest was told.

Arsema Dawit, 15, was killed in a "sustained" attack in a block of flats in Waterloo in June 2008, a jury heard.

Ms Dawit's body was found covered in blood by neighbours in a lift along with a knife.

Her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Nugusse, later confessed to the murder but could not be tried because he suffered brain damage in a prison suicide attempt.

In a garbled phone call to emergency services, Nugusse, who was 21 at the time, said he had attacked Ms Dawit after finding out she had been cheating on him.

During the call, which was read to a jury at Southwark Coroner's Court by coroner Dr Andrew Harris, Nugusse said: "She was lying to me and she said she loved me and she is cheating me."

He added: "I choose I prefer to kill my girlfriend and then kill myself. I love you and I can't be without you."

Ms Dawit received more than 50 wounds to her neck and others to her back and chest, the inquest heard.

Her family claim her fears over Nugusse were ignored by police.

In 2009, a jury at the Old Bailey was not permitted to return conventional innocent or guilty verdicts and instead found that Nugusse had "committed the acts". He was given an indefinite hospital order.

The inquest is expected to last four weeks.

I asked God for forgiveness after singing UKWU- Timaya

Timaya, the 'Ukwu' crooner has stated that everything he does when it comes to music is entirely to get himself a living and nothing more.

The outspoken singer said he tries his best to give his fans the kind of music they want to listen to and watch, adding that his desire to do something his fans want is the reason his songs were banned on television and radio stations.

He claims that his plan was never to do secular music for a long time because of his upbringing at the Living Gospel Mission as a chorister but he changed to the person he is right now because of what people want.

The singer said he in fact started with Gospel Music, then he went into singing about envies, which he got rebuked for anyways. So he decided to try something new and that's why he got rid of his dreadlocks.

Timaya went further to say that what people don't know is that he never for once disconnected with God, despite the fact that he now does secular songs. He added that he did the hit 'Ukwu' song just to make a living for himself and that he goes back to God in prayers to beg for forgiveness.

He follows fellow artistes like D'Banj and Iyanya who claim to have close relationships with God despite their flashy onscreen lives.

Migos -- Massive Brawl With Fans During Nashville Show

Exclusive Details

0903-migos-getty-01"Versace" rappers Migos got into an all-out battle royale at one of their shows ... where all 3 members of the group ended up going loco on their fans.

The melee started Sunday night at LimeLight nightclub in Nashville -- when according to sources ... one member of the group had a gold chain snatched from his neck while on stage, and immediately went after it in the crowd.

It's pretty wild fight video -- bodies pile up on the floor as the whole thing plays out.

Police were called, but LimeLight security was eventually able to contain things and no arrests were made.

Of course, this isn't the first time the Migos have been involved in an attack on tour ... having nearly escaped death following a drive-by shooting in Miami earlier this year.

Migos definitely love a good "Fight Night."

Dez Bryant -- My Twitter Hashtag ... Deserves a Trademark

Dez Bryant -- My Twitter Hashtag ... Deserves a Trademark

EXCLUSIVE

0903-dez-bryant-getty-01Dez Bryant is gunning to trademark his famous Twitter hashtag -- #ThrowUpTheX" -- in an effort to make sure he controls the use of his slogan on social media ... TMZ Sports has learned.

FYI -- the Dallas Cowboys star has been throwing up an "X" signal with his arms as a TD celebration for years ... and it's become his signature move with fans who often tweet pics of themselves to Dez "throwing up the X."

Now, we've learned Dez has filed documents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office ... looking to trademark #ThrowUpTheX for use in "news bulletins."

We did some digging ... and essentially, the "news bulletins" category covers computer software and other digital platforms that seems to cover social media.

So why trademark a hashtag? We spoke with Dez's rep who says they want to make sure no one else can take the hashtag and use it for unapproved non-Dez related activities.

Bryant has also started a "Throw Up The X" clothing line ... and we're told he hopes to grow the brand the same way Michael Jordan grew "Jordan Brand" ... eventually signing other stars to endorsement deals.

Currently, the trademark for #ThrowUpTheX is pending -- and could take months until officials make a decision.

Stay tuned ...

Horrible! Our Sons Rape Us On A Daily Basis- Christian Mothers In Imo

Our Sons Rape Us On A Daily Basis- Christian Mothers In Imo
Christ mothers from Mgbishii, a sleepy rural community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area in Imo State, have cried out to the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Dr. Anthony Obinna, over alleged atrocities being committed by their sons and daughters in the area.

The women visited Archbishop Obinna at the Maria Assumpta Catholic Cathedral, Owerri, where they complained that they were being raped by their own sons on daily basis.

"We are raped and molested by our own children. You cannot come to Mgbuishii and return home safely because of the crime," the women told Archbishop Obinna.

They further said that they had complained to both the state government and other law enforcement agents but regretted that they were yet to find solutions to the atrocities committed by their children.

They said: "We are angry because government is not looking at our direction at all. We have been completely abandoned for years.

Now, we have no good roads, no electricity, no market and nothing is going on in our place. To make things worse, we are now suffering from insecurity."

Continuing, the aggrieved women also revealed that their sons take over the roads leading to their community on each of their market days and rob people, adding that this explained why people had stopped coming to buy farm produce from their market.

"Also, each time we report cases to the police and they manage to send their men at all, the criminals beat them (policemen) up because they (criminals) parade more sophisticated weapons than what the policemen have. We needed police escort to get here (Maria Assumpta Cathedral) and we will also need them to go back home," the women said.

"Even the Reverend Father in our place is complaining and threatening to go away. About two weeks ago, some reverend sisters visited our place and were waylaid on the road and robbed. We have a lot of problems and that is why the women have come to complain to the Archbishop, who is our father in the Lord", the women added.
Responding, Obinna commi-serated with the women over their plight and pleaded with them not to take laws into their hands.

While stressing the need for proper upbringing of children by parents in the fear of the Lord, the cleric, however, recalled some bizarre things that are now happening in the society. He prayed and blessed the women for being courageous enough to bring the sordid happenings to limelight.
