Teen girl shares injuries after her boyfriend bites her lip in violent attack

Teen girl shares injuries after her boyfriend bites her lip in violent attack

The pic above shows the horrific injuries a teenage girl suffered after her jealous boyfriend bit her lip during a violent attack. 18 year old Chantelle Ward said her boyfriend, 23 year old Rhys Culley sank his teeth into her flesh during a kiss after asking her if she loved him.

Chantelle said Rhys was jealous and insecure and attacked her after a fight about Facebook. Continue

Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court saw pictures of angry teeth marks in Miss Ward's upper lip after the attack, during which he smeared her own blood around her face and forced his tongue in her mouth.

Culley, who had been in a relationship with Miss Ward for over two years, denied wounding with intent but was found guilty after a trial. He will be sentenced next month and has now been remanded in custody.

Chantelle Ward
Jurors heard Culley bit down on the victim's lip with the same force that would be needed to bite through a 1cm thick piece of rubber.

As well as the gruesome "very deep" injury to her mouth, Miss Ward had bruising and scratches to her head and body after the attack, which started after a row about Facebook.

Miss Ward told jurors during the trial Culley (pictured above) had tried to kiss her and asked her if she still loved him before the bite.

She said: "He put his whole mouth around my lips and pulled, I thought that my whole lip had come off. There was blood everywhere." The court heard trouble had flared at Miss Ward's home after a night out, when he chased her from room to room and attacked her. Culley kicked and punched Miss Ward, pulled her hair, threw her into furniture and chucked things at her before finally launching the frenzied facial attack.

The attack happened on February 22 this year, after the young couple had been out at the County Public House in South Shields. They had been celebrating Miss Ward's mother's birthday and at about 10.30pm Miss Ward, the defendant and her aunt Susan Stewart shared a taxi home, dropping her aunt off first.

When the defendant and his girlfriend got back to her house, the mood of the night changed. The defendant brought up a conversation that his girlfriend had had with another man on Facebook earlier in the month.

The defendant then took Miss Ward's phone off her in a bid to look through her Facebook messages.

The court heard how when he found that the messages were no longer there he became angry and started to shout at Miss Ward accusing her of having something to hide.

At this point, Miss Ward told the court, she realized that something was wrong and that this wasn't a 'normal' argument for the pair, who had been together for almost two and a half years.

She became scared and lifted her phone to call the defendant's mother to ask him to come and get him. But Culley is said to have taken the phone from his victim, he also locked the doors so that she couldn't escape.

Later, when her phone was left unattended she made an emergency call but Culley again took the phone from her. After Culley had bitten his victim, he "rubbed his face in hers, smearing the blood across her face and then he stuck his tongue into her mouth.

"When the police arrived they saw that they both had blood on them and over their faces." Culley was arrested and Miss Ward was taken to hospital to have her injuries examined.
She suffered not only the injuries to her mouth, but bruising to her arms and body, a scratch to her left breast, bruising of the face and ear.

During his evidence Culley said he did not mean to harm his "beautiful" girlfriend, who he knew he was lucky to have.

hmmmmmmmm.. Confession: I Slépt With My Driver Just To Have Children For My Husband

Confession: I Slépt With My Driver Just To Have Children For My Husband

This is the story of my life: I am not a loose woman. I am just a woman who loves her husband very much and didn't want to lose him. I just did what I had to do to save my marriage even though I feel guilty sometimes. It was not easy but I slept with my driver so that I could give my husband a child, but instead, God gave me twins, a boy and a girl.

I was married to Philip for eight years. We had no child. "The worst was that I never got pregnant even for a day." His mother became so impatient that she started breathing down my neck as she gave me no breathing space at all. She moved in to live with us and practically made my life unbearable – in my matrimonial home.

I cannot drink water and drop the cup because she must insult me. It got to a point that she stopped eating my food because, according to her, I should be feeding my children so that they would grow healthy and stronger and not her. "Monica, if you had children, you are supposed to be feeding them with all these food so that they would grow healthy and strong. I am getting old so I don't need all these nonsense you call food. Take them away and give me grandchildren," she would scream. Even after she had left, I could still hear those insults in my head so I decided to take a bold step – I seduced and slept with our driver.

Before then, my mother-in-law also stopped talking to me, however, the only time she talks to me is when she wants to insult me and remind me of how less a woman I was. Philip and I love each other so much that he stood by me despite all his mother did or said to frustrate me to leave him. We visited different specialists and they all certified us medically alright. I have visited churches, held vigils and even fasted for days, drank various concoctions of varied colours and combinations all in the name of getting pregnant so that my mother-in-law can stop humiliating me yet I couldn't get pregnant.

At a point, I stopped coming out of my bedroom because it was obvious my mother-in-law had vowed to frustrate me out of her son's home. Most times, I just stayed in my bedroom and either cries, pray, think and then sleep off because I was scared of his mother confronting me. To make things worse, she sent away the house help because she said, "You don't need any house help because there are no children to take care of. Take care of your house yourself and stop wasting my son's hard earned money."

It was just the three of us living at home, "God, I was always so terrified even when I hear her voice from a distance." It is so agonizing to say this but my husband usually pleads with me to come out of the room and this makes him feel so sad especially those times I refuse because I don't want to come face-to-face with his mother. When her troubles became too unbearable, Philip practically threw her out of the house just to make me feel safe and comfortable in my own home.

Okon is a young man in his late 20's. He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering but because he could not get a good paying job, he opted to become a driver. I promised to get him a good job if he sleeps with me just once but I never disclosed the reason for this. However, Okon thought I just wanted to cheat on my husband with him. I planned it during my ovulation so that I could get pregnant, although it was not easy sleeping with another man. I knew I was betraying my husband but I saw it as a necessary action. After a month, I discovered that I was pregnant. So, as promised I got a job for Okon in a friend's company where he started earning almost N150,000 per month. When I told Philip that I was pregnant, he was so excited. "Sweetheart, God has finally answered our prayers. I am pregnant," I revealed.

When I was five months pregnant, he informed his mother and she immediately returned to the house. She pampered me like a baby and also took good care of me. I never wanted to do any scan but my mother-in-law insisted. When I finally did the scan, it showed I was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. My mother- in-law and husband were extremely happy while I felt much fulfilled. "God thank you for compensating me with a set of twins after eight years of barrenness," I muttered.

Pastor Chris & Anita Oyakhilome Under Investigation for Financial Mis-management in the UK!

From: Oga Kingsley

Pastor Chris & Anita Oyakhilome Under Investigation for Financial Mis-management in the UK!

According to City Peoples Magazine, the finances of Christ Embassy as a charity in England & Wales are under investigation by The Charity Commission, regulator of charities in England and Wales. Trustees of the charity include Pastor Chris Oyakhilome; Rev (Mrs) Anita Oyakhilome; and other pastors. Some of the aims of the charity include providing to the public ministry materials such as books, audio tapes and DVDs; sponsoring the charity's uplifting programmes on satellite TV where millions are being reached; reaching out to the sick and needy people with the free distribution of the daily devotional "Rhapsody of Realities", gift items including food and clothing and grants to partner agencies or charities.

Right now, all seems not to be well with the charity as an Interim Manager, Mr Rod Weston of Mazars has been appointed to the exclusion of the charity's trustees as a temporary and protective measure. Going by reports, the commission is investigating "large connected party payments" and "the potential misapplication of grant funding" by Christ Embassy, but has declined to give further details.

According to the statement by The Charity Commission, "In July 2013, the regulator opened a statutory inquiry into the charity to investigate a number of serious concerns relating to the financialmanagement of the charity, including in particular large connected party payments. Since then a books and records inspection has been carried out and the regulator has obtained information from and met the trustees, however, the regulator's concerns about the financial management of the charity have not been resolved.

"The appointed Interim Manager will: take over the management of the charity, including its staff, assets, interests, and relations with third parties; discharge the functions of a charity trustee of the charity to the exclusion of the current charity trustees of the charity; and take any steps necessary to secure and take control of the assets of the charity. The religious activities of the charity are not affected; the Interim Manager is taking steps and working with the pastors to ensure this remains the case. Before now, the Commission had been examining various concerns about the charity.

These were not resolved and on 29 July 2013 the Commission opened a statutory inquiry using its powers in s46 Charities Act 2011. A member of the public had raised concerns with the commission in October 2012. The regulator took these up with the ministry but its questions were "not resolved".

Additional reports claim that the charity's UK accounts for "2011 show it had an annual income just short of £13m, of which £12.2m was voluntary income, but spent £8.1m. It had 28 full-time employees and spent £565,000 on staff costs".

The inquiry is to examine any regulatory concerns and decide whether there has been mismanagement or misconduct on behalf of the ministry's trustees.

5 Things Every Woman Needs to Know About Relationships

5 Things Every Woman Needs to Know About Relationships
Here are 5 things women should know about relationships:

He's not your last chance.
Many women stay in bad relationships, falsely believing he's their last chance. Whether we think we're too old, too long-gone, too messed up or have put too much time into a relationship—it's commonplace to stay with a guy because we think it's either him or being alone for the next 30 years. I know the statistics, I know how hard it is to find a good man—but don't buy into the lie that a mediocre relationship is your last chance.

Manipulation will sour your relationship quickly.
We cry or tell half-truths to make the situation come out in our favor. Winning an argument or getting your way does nothing to better a relationship—and may in fact worsen it. Be forthright, and learn to navigate conflict through healthy communication and compromise.

Nagging won't solve anything

I bet anyone to show me a healthy relationship where the woman always nag or complain about so many things in that relationship; you wouldn't see any. Women believe if they keep on complaining about things then the man would change but that isn't true. The more you complain the more cracks you create in that relationship. Complaining won't solve anything, it would only worsen things. You might be right about what you are complaining about but there are better ways to go about it; relationship is not a game of chess.

Relationship is a give and take thing
Most times, ladies lack this mentality in a relationship; they go into a relationship with the mentality that everything balls down to the man; but that's a wrong notion. A relationship would be worth it if the lady in her own way does some of the things that the man does. The simple truth is; you should treat your man just how you want to be treated. When you treat him like a king, you would definitely be his queen; except he's just another jackass.

Never enter a relationship for what you can gain
This is one mistake most ladies make, they enter a relationship for a reason, and that reason is for what they can gain. If you enter a relationship for things you would gain, you've already defeated the purpose of being in that relationship. Love should be the purpose of being in a relationship; other things should be mere side attractions. But when you turn the table around and make love just a side attraction, that relationship has no purpose and would definitely not last.

Let me hear what you think..
