A lot of people have criticized a photo of Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly which appeared online yesterday, where the Pastor held a banner asking the Government to 'Rescue Our Girls Now', but smiled wholeheartedly while holding the banner. A lot of Nigerians felt it was a serious issue bothering on terrorism and he shouldn't have smiled in the photo.
Pastor Tunde when contacted by Sahara Reporters however told them that, he smiled because he knows God is bigger than Boko Haram and the Federal Government of Nigeria as a whole. His words;
"I smiled because God is bigger than Boko Haram and the Federal Government of Nigeria. He is in heaven and us on earth.
"To the question why do the heathen rage and why do they imagine vain things, the Kings of the earth plot together against the Lord and against His anointed. God's answer in Psalm 2 will shock you. It says he that siteth in Heaven shall laugh, and that was my posture in the photo," he stated.
