Sex Horror in Classroom: Primary School Pupil Rape Female Classmate in Front of the Whole Class

A Notwane Primary School Standard One class was horrified after witnessing a violent sexual act unfolding in front of their eyes when a male boy grabbed and raped a female classmate in front of them, as the victim cried in pain.

The acting head teacher of the school, Misha Israel said the matter was dealt with by the school's guidance teacher.  Israel went out of the office to go and call the guidance and senior teachers. They came after a long discussion outside. 

But all hell broke loose as the teachers and Israel became uncooperative as The Monitor reporter sought answers. They denied that the incident was 'rape'.  One of the teachers said if this was a rape incident, the matter could have been reported to the police.  The deputy head teacher wanted to know the definition of rape from this reporter.

The teachers claimed that Standard One pupils are not sexually active.  One of the teachers said the students at the school start Standard One when they are five and half. 

But the parent who wants to remove her child from the school, said her daughter who is doing Standard One is seven. 

The Monitor has learnt that the sexual violence took place in the classroom as the teachers were sitting outside, warming themselves in the sunshine.

A concerned parent who preferred anonymity, said she was informed about the incident by her Standard One daughter.  The parent said she wants to remove her daughter from the school as it is clear that children are not safe at the institution. She said initially her daughter who witnessed the incident, did not want to talk about it. But then another pupil blurted out "you know the things that we have seen today."  A stunned relative quizzed the pupil on what he was talking about.  This was when the children narrated to the parents what occurred at the school that day.

According to sources, the parents of the boy have refused to be summoned to the school to discuss the matter.
