Lagos Begins 71-Day Repair Work On Eko Bridge Tomorrow
The Lagos State Government tomorrow Saturday, 23rdof August 2014, will commence the repairs on the expansion joints on Eko Bridge which is expected to be completed in the next 71days.=, adding that the bridge will not be closed, but rather a phased partial restriction.

The commissioner for transportation, Hon Kayode Opeifa who announced this, also begged for the corporation of road users.

"The state government however, appeals for caution and co-operation from all road users by obeying traffic regulations and has directed all traffic management personnel to ensure traffic flow during the maintenance period while regretting any inconvenience occasioned by this project." Hon. Opeifa said.


The project is meant to end on Monday 27th of October, 2014.
