Man Jailed 2 Years & 9 Months For Filming Fast & Furious Movie In Cinema
Oh dear, not in Nigeria. I am sure the likes of Tunde kelani and Saidi Balogun who recently told journalists that his new movie which he borrowed money to film has been pirated and has left him broke will feel more sad reading this news. Their counterparts in America got justice, but the criminal here in Nigeria is walking about freely. Though I personally think 2years and 9 months is quite much (my opinion). Okay back to the gist.

A man named Philip Danks has been jailed for 33 months after recording Fast And Furious 6 from the back of a cinema in Walsall. A judge in Wolverhampton ruled that Philip, 25, uploaded the movie, which has been downloaded 700,000 times on the internet.

The Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) told the court this meant millions of pounds lost for the film's distributor, Universal Pictures. The judge found Philip guilty and he was sentenced to 33months in prison for the act.
